Until now blockchain technology is been widely used for decentralized finance, NFTs, gaming and GameFi. Nowadays it is used for metaverse projects. A new field is also coming to blockchain. For people bored from web 2.0 based social media platforms it will be funny to use web 3.0 technology based NFT powered social media platforms.

Kaira Network is preparing for the opening of this round of blockchain homed social media content producing and sharing platform. The network aims to provide NFT powered social media connections and content creating and curating on Avalanche. Kaira network users will either purchase platforms NFT characters or will use their recent Avalanche NFT projects NFTs of course who made partnership with the platform. There are several partner NFT projects so far declared on their website and social accounts. The project aims to allow users also playing rpg games on the platform and earn Kaira tokens. It is also a play to earn platform.

On the other hand Kaira network declared that there will be a metaverse too on the platform.

Current web 2.0 based social media platforms require user name and passwords for connecting the system. They also require almost always sharing email addresses and more personal information. Users identities and informations are collected and used by social media platforms for marketing and other purposes. Web 3.0 wallets allow to interact with platforms and provide freedom to users. Kaira network will provide a connection over web 3.0 wallets at the beginning it will be the most known one. Then users will use one of their avatar based NFTs as their social character on the platform. This will be their identity on social media. They will have opportunity to produce decentralized, anonymous, contents. The platform will be home for different social games. NFTs will be the key to enter this new environment. Users assets will be stored on their web 3.0 wallets. Thus Kaira network will provide a decentralized user controlled social media product to all people who has got necessary keys to enter the platform. Contents of the platform will be open to all but production of content will require possession of NFTs.

Kaira network will provide author rewards to users who create their content on different topics. The rewards will be based on community members upvotes for the content, the creator will earn token reward at every upvote. The other reward is curator rewards. Users who upvote any content can earn Kaira tokens as a curator reward. This mechanism will allow curators to earn by reading others contents and upvoting for them.

There will be more precise rules for how to earn Kaira tokens on the platform. Reward levels may be associated with the number of interactions, comments and social popularity of the contents produced by the users. Kaira is going to be the governance token of the platform. There will be also a staking option for Kaira on the platform. The system will also contribute to add other platforms NFTs some more functionality to their products by earning KAIRA tokens.

The team explained some mechanisms for earning rewards on their medium article. There is a leveled liking option (so called power percentage) e.g. 50% like or 100% like. To inhibit the abuse of their model Kaira team invented another system that they labeled ‘the Bandwidth Limit’. There is a bandwidth value associated with users. It increases with the reputation of the user so called Kaira Power. It is decreased when it is used. Thus, with the decrease of Kaira power. At the end of the day, Kaira power will automatically rise to the specified level. Kaira power is also subject to exchange to Kaira in part every day.

The rewarding system appears to be a little bit difficult to understand but it will be more understood while it will be in practice.

At the end Kaira Network is a new social media content producing and sharing project based on Avalanche blockchain that will allow people earning Kaira tokens. GameFi and metaverse will be also available in this project.
